What is Holistic Biography Work?

Holistic Biography Work offers a comprehensive and structured framework for understanding life stories and individual biographies. Drawing on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy, alongside insights from other spiritual teachers and philosophies, it builds upon the research of notable figures such as Bernard Lievegoed, Gudrun Burkhard, Aaron Antonovsky, Coenraad van Houten, and Helmut ten Siethoff.

Further informed by Humanistic Psychology and various self-development methodologies, this approach acknowledges the spiritual dimension of human beings and their life journeys — deepening our understanding of human development and the challenges facing humanity.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is open to anyone with a sincere interest in self-knowledge and the human journey.

A conscious understanding of one’s own biography will assist anyone in developing a clearer picture of their life’s journey from birth, providing a greater sense of self-awareness and direction towards their future. This path of self-knowledge is an essential element in Steiner/Waldorf teacher training; however, there is no one who will not benefit from Holistic Biography Work, and this course is highly valuable for all educators, parents, professionals, and anyone drawn to the path of inner development.

Course Structure

Each module includes an extended study guide, self-paced lecture recordings, and structured webinar preparation materials. The heart of the course is the live webinars and small, intimate group sharing.

The single assessed task is the River of Life — a progressive visual representation of your life journey, developed across the full twelve weeks and submitted in final form at Week 12. A Life Panorama Chart is included in your course materials.
